Course Overview
Many prophetic people carry two things at once: a deep sensitivity to God's voice and deep wounds from their past. Too often, the church addresses one and ignores the other.
Seen. Healed. Sent. brings them together. Over seven sessions, you'll explore what the Bible says about prophets, how trauma and your family line can connect to your gifting, what research reveals about trauma and mental health, and how the Holy Spirit brings healing to the whole person. You'll finish with a clearer sense of your prophetic identity, and of the message, mandate and mission God has placed on your life.
Every session is rooted in Scripture, grounded in sound research and led with compassion.
Seven Sessions
Session 1 — Understanding the Prophetic Discover what a prophet is, the biblical words for prophets, and what prophets like Samuel, Jeremiah, Moses, Joseph, David and Elijah walked through before stepping into their calling.
Session 2 — Trauma, Bloodline and the Prophetic Gift Through the stories of Joseph and of Hannah and Samuel, see how deep pain and family heritage can point to the gifts God placed in you, and how He turns for good what was meant for harm.
Session 3 — Gift or Office? Types and Marks of a Prophet Go deeper into the seer, the speaker and the visionary. Learn the difference between the gift of prophecy and the office of a prophet, and recognize the traits of prophetic people.
Session 4 — The Prophet and Mental Health, Part 1 Explore childhood prophetic experiences alongside adverse childhood experiences. Learn what research shows about trauma and mental health, and what science is discovering about generations.
Session 5 — The Prophet and Mental Health, Part 2: Healing Learn how God restored a weary prophet, and receive healing through a guided inner-healing encounter with the Holy Spirit, anchored in who God says you are.
Session 6 — Your Identity as a Prophetic Person You were made in God's image to carry His authority. Discover the roles of prophets, the prophetic senses (seeing, hearing, feeling, knowing and more), and the Bible character you're wired like.
Session 7 — Message, Mandate and Mission Release old labels, agree with how God sees you, and begin discovering the message He's given you, the people He's sending you to, and how to carry it out. We close with a commissioning.
